MOBILE

1. Using your Whistle mobile app, tap the menu icon in the upper left corner and select Maps.

2. In the lower left corner, tap REFRESH GPS to get your pet’s latest location. Please note this may take a moment to update.

3. If the GPS has refreshed, you will see “Now” noted above the current location at the bottom of the screen.

4. Tap the three-dots icon in the upper right corner to see options for Maps view, directions to your pet, and the option to share your pet’s location. 

5. Tap “Directions to [pet’s name]

6. You will be asked if Whistle can open Google Maps. Tap Open.

7. The Google Maps application will open providing various routes and travel times via walking, car, public transport, or bike to get to your pet’s last know location.

8. Note that you can continue to REFRESH GPS on the Maps screen to be sure you are always moving toward your pet’s latest location. If your pet moves from the previous location, you can repeat the steps above to receive updated directions to the new location.

WEB APP

1. Using any browser, log in to the Whistle Web App.

2. The app will open in the Maps feature, sharing your pet’s last known location.

3. In the lower right corner, click REFRESH GPS to get your pet’s latest location. Please note this may take a moment to update. 

4. If the GPS has refreshed, you will see “Now” or “a min ago” noted above the current location at the bottom right of the screen.

5. Click the blue diamond with arrow icon in the lower right corner (above current location). This will open a new tab taking you to a Google Maps directory to your pet.

6. Google Maps will provide various routes and travel times via walking, car, public transport, or bike to get to your pet’s last known location.

7. Note that you can continue to REFRESH GPS on the Whistle Web App Maps screen to be sure you are always moving toward your pet’s latest location. If your pet moves from the previous location, you can repeat the steps above to receive updated directions to the new location.
