How Do I Activate My WHISTLE™ Health & GPS (GO/Explore) Replacement?
Last Update:Jul 13 2023 5:54pmIf you're receiving a replacement tracker from us for a defective WHISTLE™ Health & GPS (GO/Explore), you'll need to activate it in the app. To ensure your subscription and pet profile can transfer over successfully, please make sure to use our Replacement Activation experience in the app.
How to Activate Your Replacement Device:
1. Plug in the Whistle Health & GPS, and be sure to keep it plugged in throughout the activation process.
2. Ensure that your phone's location services and Bluetooth service are turned on and permission enabled for the Whistle app.
3. Tap on the Human Stuff bottom right icon and select Add a Whistle device.
4. Select the Whistle Health & GPS (GO/Explore) GPS and Activity Tracker.
5. Select the Pet's Profile with the defective Whistle device that you are replacing with your new Whistle Health & GPS device. The pet you select will transfer over their subscription. Do Not set up a new pet.
6. Select the safe Place from the list that you are currently at and in range of WiFi. Note: If you exit the activation flow before connecting the device to your WiFi, when you restart the setup process, you can proceed directly to the Human Tab > Safe Places and choose your current Place. Tap the pencil & paper icon next to the WiFi network to pick up where you left off
7. Follow the activation steps until you reach the "Welcome to the Pack" screen.
8. Once you reach the Welcome to the Pack screen, it could take up to a few minutes, sometimes hours to receive the activation notification. At this time, keep the Whistle device on the charger and do not place the device on your pet until you receive the activation notification.
