Whistle 2.0 for Android - What's On the Home Tab?

When you open the Whistle 2.0 app, you'll see the Home tab


  • If you do not have a GPS device (Whistle Health or Whistle Health 2.0), you'll see the Activity card at the top of the screen




  • If you have a GPS device (Whistle Switch or Whistle Go Explore), you'll see the Map card at the top of the screen, displaying your pet's last recorded location





Tapping on the Map card will take you to the Location tab

Tapping on the Activity card will take you to the Activity tab


Activity card

  • For all device types, the Activity card will show the progress toward reaching the activity goal for the day

  • It will also show the aggregated distance traveled, calories burned, and time resting

Health metrics

  • For all device types, dog profile only, the Health metrics will show in separate cards

  • Wellness is in-line with Scratching, Licking, Eating, Drinking, and Sleeping

  • The status is color-coded from green > yellow > orange > red depending on severity

  • Tapping on any Health card will open the Health report in an external browser window

    • If the report is not previously enabled, you'll be prompted to enable the Health report


For Cat owners with a GPS device

  • Whistle is not calibrated to record Health metrics for cats (Yet!) If your feline buddy is wearing a Whistle GPS device, your Home tab will not include the Health card and will look like this
