Sure you can. In fact, taking your Whistle Activity Monitor along when you travel with your pet is a great idea, as you can compare their activity level to how they behave when they're back at home.

Here are some things to keep in mind while you travel:

  • You will need either a Bluetooth or a Wi-Fi connection in order to sync data between the Whistle device and our servers, although the device can store up to 21 days of data. Click here for more information on how we communicate with the Whistle app.
  • However, each new Wi-Fi connection reduces the available battery charge by about 10%. Make sure you delete old Wi-Fi connections when they are no longer needed. Click here for more information on adding and deleting Wi-Fi networks.
  • Since your pet may want to "discover" new areas while you're away, try to keep your Whistle device clean. Click here for more information on cleaning your Whistle.
  • Finally, if you want to keep in touch with friends and family, you can use the Whistle Community to share events, add notes and upload pictures. Click here for more information on using the Whistle Community Board.
