If you are receiving multiple docking notifications in a row (without docking your tracker), this is known to be caused by using a non-Whistle (or Tagg) provided charging adapter and cable for your base station. The reason the factory-provided cable and adapter must be used is that it supports the correct amount of current the device requires to charge correctly.
