You will setup a new subscription on Whistle 3 in order to auto cancel your old subscription on your legacy device
Who should read this article?
- You have a legacy device–Whistle GPS or TAGG device–and have bought a Whistle 3
- You also have an ongoing 1 or 2-year subscription for that legacy device
When you download the new Whistle iOS or Android mobile app (the icon with a white background and green logo), you should login using your current account email and password, which will allow you to carry over your existing pet profile and pet data from your legacy device to your Whistle 3.
When you reach the subscription section during the in app setup you will need to select a new subscription plan in order to auto cancel the old subscription.
If you have an existing 1-year or 2-year legacy subscription plan, with time left, you will receive a prorated refund for the amount remaining. This will appear as a credit to your account that you used for your legacy subscription payments in ~5-10 business days. If you are on a month to month legacy subscription plan, you will not receive a refund, even if your month is not over.
