The Whistle 3 runs on AT&T's 3G network. We recommend first checking to make sure your house (or any other area where your pet may spend time) is covered by our AT&T's 3G network.

Disclaimer:  AT&T's map is only meant to show general coverage in your area. There is no notion of signal strength, so depending on your surrounding environment - there may still be some issues with communicating with the network.

To check coverage:

  1. Under Wireless, select "Data"
  2. Under Device Type, select "3G"
  3. Enter your address

* Keep in mind this is only for the Whistle 3 device and not your actual mobile phone. As long as you have cellular data & reception on your iOS or Android device, you'll be able to use the Whistle app.
