How Do I Cancel My WHISTLE ™ Subscription?

What is the cancellation policy for Whistle subscriptions?
- If you cancel your subscription within the first 30 days after activation, your subscription will be cancelled immediately and you'll receive a full refund.
- If you cancel within the first 90 days after activation (days 31-90) you'll receive a prorated refund and the subscription will be cancelled immediately.
❗️Please check the confirmation screen if you cancel in the app, to be sure it confirms that your subscription is cancelled and shows you the refund amount. If you don't see that information or are unsure, please contact our support team. We want to ensure you get the refund you're expecting!
- If you cancel after 90 days from the activation or at any time after your subscription automatically renews, there is no refund due and the cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle. See the full Terms & Conditions here
Cancellations cannot be completed via third-party apps or services (such as Apple Subscription Management, Rocket Money, or other similar apps).
Whistle subscriptions are managed and paid in-app only. Third party services cannot connect to our servers. Only the Whistle account owner can make changes - including cancellation - to their subscription and we require your direct approval to do so, as per the Terms and Conditions. This is for the safety and protection of your personal and payment information. Attempts to cancel via third-party methods will not be successful
Unsubscribing from Whistle emails does not cancel your service subscription.
It only removes your email address from our marketing and communication email list. If you wish to cancel the subscription for your service, you must submit the cancellation in-app or via our Customer Support team
What steps do I need to take to cancel my Whistle subscription?

If you are having any technical or billing issues, we urge you to reach out to us, so that we are able to assist
If you'd still like to cancel, you can do so in the Whistle app 📱
⚠️ Once your account is canceled, you will no longer be able to access the data from your device and your account - Customer Support also cannot access this for you - be sure you've saved or checked anything you need before continuing on to cancel! ⚠️
1. Open the Whistle app and tap on the Human tab in the bottom menu
2. Scroll down to Account Information and tap to select it
3. Tap on Subscription to view all current subscriptions. If you have more than one subscription, you will be able to view them all here
4. Select the subscription you wish to cancel
5. Tap Cancel to the right of the plan information
5. You'll be asked to confirm. If you just have billing questions or you're having technical issues, you can contact us first to help resolve or troubleshoot before you decide to cancel - we'd love to keep you as part of the Whistle Pack!
6. But, if you'd still like to continue to cancel, tap "No thanks, cancel my subscription" at the bottom.
7. Be sure to complete all the steps and tap Confirm at the bottom of this screen
➡️ 7. If it's been more than 90 days since you created the subscription, or if your subscription has already auto-renewed, your cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle and is non-refundable. The subscription will remain active until the end of the term.
We'll send you a reminder email 30 days before and another 7 days before each auto-renewal happens! And you can view that renewal date in your Account any time
Otherwise, if you cancel before the subscription auto-renews, your subscription will be cancelled immediately and no further charges will be incurred
⚠️ NOTE - once the subscription is cancelled you will no longer be able to use the Whistle device or the Whistle app! If you select "At the end of my term", you'll still be able to use both the device and the app until the day your subscription term ends, even though you have submitted the cancellation. If you cancel immediately, you will lose access to everything immediately
8. Select the reason for cancelling. We value your input!
Then, tap Continue
8. You'll see a confirmation that your subscription has been cancelled successfully.
If you do not see this screen or there is some other issue or concern, please contact Customer Support right away so we can assist
If you are cancelling more than one subscription, you must follow these steps for each subscription
If you have any questions, concerns, or you prefer to have one of our Support Agents submit the cancellation, we are more than happy to help! We will authenticate your account for your security, then we can help deactivate the device and process the cancellation.

Subscription Refunds
If you select our 1-year or 2-year subscription plan and request to cancel your subscription before the first 90 day period after activation, you can receive a prorated refund for the months unused. After the 90 day period, a refund is no longer available.
30 Day Device Return Policy
If Purchased On Whistle.com
We want you to be completely satisfied with your WHISTLE™ purchase, and offer a 30 day return policy to make sure you have plenty of time to try it out! If you are not satisfied with your Whistle, you can return it within the first 30 days of the tracker’s purchase date. You will receive a refund for the cost of the tracker, as well as a refund for any unused subscription value if canceled within 90 days of starting the subscription (unused subscription value is prorated based on time remaining on the subscription term).
➡️ You will still need to cancel your subscription either in the app or by contacting Customer Support. Returning your device doesn't also cancel the subscription! Check the subscription status in your Account Information in the Whistle app if you want to be sure
If Purchased Through Another Reseller:
Your Whistle is subject to the seller's return policy. However, you can receive a refund for any unused subscription value if canceled within 90 days of starting the subscription (unused subscription value is prorated based on time remaining on the subscription term).
If the device was not purchased from Whistle.com we cannot process a return in those cases, you will have to contact the seller directly for return and refund information.
Devices purchased from unauthorized or third-party sellers will also not be covered by the Whistle warranty as we cannot verify the source or condition of the device.

Whistle currently only sells the Whistle SWITCH device on Amazon. Any other Whistle device models sold on Amazon are third party devices and will not be covered by the Whistle warranty or return policy. Please contact Amazon directly for returns and refunds!
