Why Won’t My WHISTLE™ FIT or Health Sync?

WHISTLE™ Fit uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to sync the data collected by your device with your app. 

The Whistle Health uses Bluetooth only to sync the data collect by the device with the app. 

 

For syncs to work over WiFi, verify that you’ve met the following conditions:

  • You have been in range of a Wi-Fi network that is saved on your device. (See How do I edit my Wi-Fi settings?)

  • Your Wi-Fi network name or password has not changed

  • The software on your iPhone or Android phone is up to date

 

For syncs to work over Bluetooth verify that you’ve met the following conditions:

  • The Bluetooth setting on your smartphone is on

  • Your phone is not managing multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously. Other Bluetooth devices may be interfering

  • Your phone, router, and Whistle Fit or Health are not close to large metal appliances, electrical or computer equipment, or other devices operating on the same frequencies/bandwidths

  • Your device battery is charged


For devices that sync only via Bluetooth, one option to sync data while you're away is to download the Whistle app onto an iPad and log into your account. You can leave the app running in the background or close it, and the Whistle device can sync data using the iPad when nearby.
